Login To Bag HillsOgre Hill is not the most salubrious hill bagging as once you climb Byrness Hill and Ravens Knowe, it's just a short walk across to a flat area at the cusp of a forest area.
I prefer to see a nice clear prominence with a trig point or cairn, but for some reason Ogre Hill has been included in the Cheviot 99 Challenge.
Follow the route above or find it on OS Maps. Just over 5km and 362m of climbing.
To add more excitement to this venture, bag some more hills on this walk to Byrness, Hungry Law, Lumsdon Law and Echo Crags.
