Login To Bag HillsThe Heart's Toe is a bit of an oxymoron as it's undoubtly the best hill name in the Cheviots, but probably the most dull bagging.
Located between Ogre Hill and Greyhound Law up near Byrness, I found it to be just a small mound with trees and heather growing on it.
But you still need to bag it to complete the Cheviot 99 Challenge, so from the parking, just head north up through the forest and it's right at the top.
Follow the route above or find it on OS Maps. Around 4.5km and 238m of climbing.
Don't worry, we have more exciting hills for you to bag in this walk to Byrness, Hungry Law, Lumsdon Law and Echo Crags.
