You've probably heard me bleat on about it before, but I love a trig point or cairn marking the top of a hill. Not only does it help you identify hills, but it also marks the top of the hill and something to aim for on your ascent. Kilham Hill has a little cairn at the top.
You're spoilt up here with sensational views all around mainly of Eastor Tor and Newton Tors.
To bag Kilham Hill, park at Hethpool, ascend White Hill before heading west towards the tree line at the foot of Haddon Hill. Then head north to Longknowe Hill, up and over that, same for Longknowe Hill NE Top and then you one final ascent to Kilham Hill.
