From the parking in Alnham just follow the permissive path all the way towards the Shepherds Cairn At Ewartly Shank then follow the fence line as it picks up a track towards the summit of Hogdon Law.
Follow the route above or find it on OS Maps. It's just under 6km with 430m climbing.
Some fab views from the top towards the Cheviot and you'll also pass this cool little cairn on the way up.
