Login To Bag HillsNow I am a bit confused by this one as Great Moor East Top is 353m, however Great Moor West has an elevation of 446m. Maybe the west one isn't a prominent enough peak to be classed as a hill. Anyway, the Great Moor East Top is much more interesting as it is adorned with some fantastic crags.
In addition to having your sandwich amongst these lovely rocky outcrops, you also have mega views in all directions including The Cheviot and Newton Tors.
Easiest way to get here is to park at Langleeford and then head north west up the path skirting Broadhope Hill, through Broadstruther and then north to the Great Moor East Top.
Around 5.5km and 273m of climbing.
Follow the route above or find it on OS Maps.
Of course there is plenty more to bag in that area and you can find them on this walk to Cold Law, Great Moor and Coldburn Hill.
You may as well bag the Great Moor West while you're here as it has amazing views of Bizzle Crags on the face of The Cheviot.
