Login To Bag HillsBagging Cobden Cleuch Top is quick and easy although relatively uneventful. It's one of those where there isn't a clear top, so I just followed OS Maps until I was pretty much on top of it and it appeared to be this little copse.
The slope did increase beyond this to Leafield Edge, however this peak wasn't on open access land. Park at Hartside just before Linhope village and then head through Alnhamoor, following the permissive path through the field and then up the slope. There is a clear quad bike track to follow here right to the peak of Cobden Cleuch Top.
Follow the route above or find it on OS Maps. Just over 2.5km and 100m of climbing.
Was difficult to get a shot of Cobden Cleuch Top, but it's up there somewhere.
However there are cracking views of Dunmoor Hill and Cunyan Crags from the top.
